The Future

Welcome to the new BRHS—a vibrant hub for arts, academics, and athletics in Tallapoosa County and across central Alabama.

After years of thoughtful planning, this transformative project is becoming a reality, with construction scheduled for completion by Spring 2026.

The new campus will feature a state-of-the-art auditorium, a culinary classroom outfitted with professional-grade kitchens, an acoustically engineered band room, and a dedicated practice field. It will also include two gymnasiums—one of which is a competition gym with seating for 1,200 spectators—as well as a track designed to host competitive events.

These new facilities reflect our commitment to attracting families; supporting our talented musicians, scholars, and athletes; and providing an exceptional educational environment for the students, staff, and community of Alexander City.
